Alchemist Girl Tia Project - Start!

Hi everyone, I spend lot of time for Tia and now I finished her idle and jog sprites.  I try to draw her in large image and scale down to 32% in game.  Still have to draw her back part (tired -*-).  I think she look cute enough and hope everyone love her  ^.^

In game sprite (32% from original)

    1. Thank :D
It standard speed when I make gif file. I have to code and set animation speed in game maker later.

    1. I planed to make bigger scale in H gallery but still not full scale :P
Game window will be 1280x720 for standard but Tia full scale is 400x900 pixel.
So it no way I can put full scale on screen.
Maybe 50-60% from full scale. I already try 50% and it still look good ^^

    1. Thank, my favorite cup are C and D
Girls in my game should have B - F cup and no for J+ cup >.<"

  6. Character art is quite good, I like it.
By the way, are you use Spine to animate this?
The movement look little stiff somehow.

    1. Nope I already try and bought Spine. But Spine is hard to use for me and deformation isn't good as I thought (or maybe I not learn it enough -*-)
So I come back to use Spriter with unfinished / testing feature (Skin Mode). It can deform same as Spine but have lot of bugs. But for me Spriter and more eaiser and convenient to use than Spine >.<"

  7. When you make the nude model for her, can you also draw feet in it? I think that also missed in your last game. Plus you can make foot scenes which is highly popular in japan for better sales.

    1. I admit I would like to see that too! Some barefeet characters and some barefeet scene.
It's true if you add more different fetishism in your game, it's will become more attractive.

    2. Tia get cloth torn and drop her shoes -*-
And bare feet is a bit hard when draw for me especially fingers.

Will add some. Maybe for female enemy but how to do yuri scene with feet?
Or maybe some npc H scene on background :P

    3. How about some male Npc´s in the background who got defeated and getting dominated by random female nps´s/enemys with footjob/sex? Also an fetish if i remember correctly xD

And i think you dont have to force yourself to add some footjobs in there, just drawing barefeet in the "regular" sex scenes would be good enough. Personally i think its more attractive as with shoes/socks on. But would be really hard if you havent draw it before, so take your time and practicing it will be really worth it. Or dont, its your game :)

    4. I more like Tia to always wearing shoes because
      1) I don't have to draw new part
      2) It's a lot more easier for connect lower leg and shoe part compare to foot while making animation
But I will try and think about it.

About NPC H scenes, game story is about bad alchemist clan conquer the town by using mysterious perfume that make people loss they mind and having sex all day if they receive enough perfume. So on town stage, you will see people having free sex around the town as background ^^

  8. Maybe its just me or something but her thighs look too thin jogging when compared to the standing sprite

Guess who's back. Back again. Been awhile, eh? Was busy doing stuff and researching Muramasa to get what your ideas are. Will discuss it soon. Soon.

So. Production has started. That's delicious. I see you went with 1 with kneesocks. Impeccable taste, my friend.

Going fullscale REALLY made things great and they look just as swell as your CGs. If you want me to be constructive, I guess I can say that the shading on her clothes should move as well to give a better sense of motion. But let's be realistic, that'd be way too difficult to animate. I'm sure your program doesn't even let you do something like that. If you do feel like going crazy and doing it anyway, be my guest, but I'd rather you focus your time and attention on getting the porn out rather than looking into minor details.

Oh, but I do think something much simpler would be in the feet. Her feet should tilt a bit when it touches the ground, that is, unless you had her feet and lower leg as one piece. The way she jogs, her toes are the only things touching the ground, and well, it's quite painful (I tried it as I typed this comment). Her heels should hit the ground first. It's a simpler improvement than MAKE THE SHADING MOOOOOVE, so take it into consideration.

I can see that the Vanillaware influences have really rubbed on you though. The way her belt moves and her potions jiggle, that really just SCREAMS Vanillaware. Good job on that. I actually prefer your artstyle over George Kamitani's, to be perfectly honest. Sleep well with that knowledge.

Ahhhh, right! Her mascot character thing. Forgot to bring it up last time. What he gonna look like? I keep coming back to some flying Kyubey thing. Or that thing from Cardcaptor Sakura. A feline-ish monster thing.

  10. Thank man ^.^
I just notice about shoe and ground problem while jog when read your comment. Will fix it.

About shading move, I can't do it because I use bone animation not draw frame by frame >.<"

I have not design mascot character yet. But maybe similar to this one

Ever heard of Live2D by the way?
    http://www.live2d.com/en/
I was doing some research on animating tools when I remembered playing Nekopara (hisss~). The portraits in the game move like they're alive, rotating left and right like nobody's business. Apparently, it's done using Live2D. Seems lots of games, professional AND indie, make use of this program over in Japan. Mostly VNs though. From the looks of it, I think it's pretty much bone animation, with the ability to deform picks to make different angles. Seems like it makes dynamic, rotating movement much easier but...

I can't promise you that it's easy to use since I don't particularly know much about the program itself. Seems there's a pro version and a free one. Pro lets you do whatever the hell you want, but the free one has limitations. Why don't you test it and see if it's easier to use? Pro version costs like 1000 US dollars though. Crazy. There isn't even an action-based example to tell me that it's fit for anything other than making waifus stare at you adorably, which makes me worry.

As for the mascot... I'm really digging the Doraemon 4D pocket. I can see Tia just stuffing potions and items into the damn thing and forcing it out. Definitely an aspect that's gotta be kept. I keep thinking his face should be cute, but creepy and perverse. Like. (´・ω・`). Eternally. (´・ω・`).

    1. Never heard about live2D before but see the video and it's look great.
Will try it and hope it's easy to use.
But pro version with $1260 (O_O)!

Ohohohohoho. Do tell me of your results experimenting with it. I tried toying around while researching, and I don't understand annnnything.

8d Rack up some money making porn games and you can buy that full version. Or rip it out your savings. I've yet to find anyone using Live2D for H-scene related purposes, but it might make some really nice sexing. Heheheh.

    3. I try to see tutorial from youtube and I can't find how to make walking animation -*-
It seem like this program is good for idle and some little animation. The best for this program is character look at your mouse location.
But for act game, bone animation still better :P

Damn, I was worried that was the case. It's only ever used for making waifus stare at you, that's all I've ever seen. I'll probably still play around with it myself and see if anything cool can be done with it.

  12. What software/program are you using?

    1. Oh, cool. Thanks for the quick answer.

I'm thinking of trying Spriter or Spine as well when I move to bone animation. I'm currently doing pixel animations with Aseprite, though.

What about the games themselves? Unity?

      Delete
    2. I think Spine is better because free deform feature in Spriter is unfinished and has lot of bugs. But I feel annoying while using Spine. Maybe because I already get use to Spriter and basic function like move/rotate,scale in Spriter is a lot easier to use than Spine.

About game engine, I use Game Maker. Not much confidence and time to learn Unity because I don't know C language or Java >.<"

  13. Ahh, I see. I learned game maker, too. But my friends forced me to learn Unity. I have a programming background but I don't think it's that rough.

Virgin Invader was great by the way, easily one of the best I've played in a while. The mechanics, especially bosses and supporting characters were really fun. And I love the amount of content.
